"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I have been on this site for a little over a year, and while I have made a few friends I have also seen some things that disturbed me so much that for a while I didn't have any more than local involvement with the site. Why doesn't Jark just start a new site and those of us that liked the original DA the way it was before everybody started minding everybody elses business. Those of us loyal to jark can join that site and those who have wrested control of DA can keep it.
